Running to the Limits - The Road to Beijing project generated a huge international following through the website www.theroadtobeijing.co.uk which was nominated for the 'Yahoo Finds of the Year Awards'. Over 500,000 unique hits were recorded on the website from browsers all over the world including :- Argentina, Japan, USA, Spain, New Zealand, Holland and the UK. The project also created a healthy debate over the question of 'nature v nurture' and challenged people's perceptions as to what could be achieved in distance running. The documentary has now also been broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK and will be available on DVD for worldwide distribution from the 21st of February 2010.
